Observation

Another teacher was in the classroom during incident, she reported seeing Teacher Teresa grab the child's hand and hitting the hand and saying "you do not hit me" to the child. Teacher Teresa also said that she put her hand on the child's hand in a reaction to the child hitting her and her action of touching the child's hand sounded loud. Teacher Teresa said her intention was not to hurt the child. Although Teacher Teresa is remorseful and apologetic, she did use inappropriate discipline in this situation.
